Hi, hope that somebody can help. The tags for Nest Guard are connected to an account. Now, when I deleted this account and try to connect the tag to the new account it is saying that it is connected to an other account. Since I cannot use this account anymore to delete the tag I’m wondering if they’re any option. Strange that this is the way of connecting to your guard.
any advise?

Thanks for visiting the Community. I’m sorry for the delayed response. Let’s check this out — try to factory reset your Nest Guard then try adding your Nest Tag again.

Hi JT, will be back home end of the week. Will try your solution then. Aren’t the tags connected to an account instead of the device?

Hey there,
Cool, sounds like a plan! Good question! In most cases it’s connected to your Nest account. It’s probably paired to your old home structure and when you’re adding it to your current home structure that’s when the error message pops up.

Ok understood. I use the same device but with an other account. As advised I will fully reset the Nest Secure this weekend. Will keep you posted. Thanks for your support.
