Does it keep getting stuck at 2 lights even if you remove and reinsert the power cable?

I have the exact same problem. I have tried all the suggestions that is, attempt to reboot by removing cord and switching mic to off ( 10 times) no resolution. Then tried pressing on centre of mini nest for 5 seconds then a further 10 seconds - no sound was made by device. Google home app states that home speaker is offline - however the suggestion to add the device again - also did not work. In fact, nothing has worked.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help Azarco and davidking.

@renogustavino, @SWoo, before you proceed, send feedback and use the keyword GHT3 Nest Mini no LED. Before you submit feedback, send first the device usage data and crash reports to Google with these steps:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Select the device that has the issue.
  3. Tap Settings > Recognition and sharing.
  4. Toggle the slider to the right.

If you've done the steps below then you can skip on it but, it would help a lot if you could do it again:

  1. On the side of the device, unplug the power cord > wait 10 seconds > plug the power cord back in > wait until the 4 LEDs light up.
  2. Repeat the first step, 8 more times.
  3. On the side of the device, switch the mic off. The LED lights turn orange.
  4. Press and hold the top of the device (where the LED lights are).
  5. After 5 seconds, the device begins the reset process.
  6. Continue to hold the top of the device for 10 seconds more or until the Google assistant confirms that the FDR has started.
  7. Wait until the device announces “Welcome to Google Home" > use the Google Home app to set up the device.
  8. After the setup is complete, advise the customer to test the device with any voice command.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan
