There was a glitch

Around the start of the month all speakers began to act up. You ask a request or question or anything and the first time the speaker will respond "Hmmm there was a glitch, try again in a few seconds" then you try after it stops talking and works perfectly. Whats really weird is I can ask a question to one google home and if its the first question sometimes 3 or 4 google homes will respond with "there was a glitch" even ones 2-3 rooms over from where I am.

Hi acraigburns,

Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that your Google Nest devices are not responding to your voice commands. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some quick questions.

  • Which Google Nest devices do you have? (model name, generation number)
  • Are your devices connected to the same WiFi network as your other devices?
  • Are your devices showing up as connected on the Google Home app?
  • Could you please try to reboot your router?  Are there any improvements?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to the devices itself? (ex: reboot, reset, etc.) If so, what have you attempted so far?

I look forward to your response, thanks for your patience!
