Hi Community,
my Chromecast HD stop suddenly working. I haven't used it for a couple of days and than trying to turn it on I realized it disapperead from my sources. I did not touch it and it is connected to the power (the device is warm). The only thing I can think is that I updated my phone (Android).
I tried to disconnet and reconnet many times, I follewed the throubleshotting steps but nothing, it won't appear in the sources on my tv.
Any idea on what to do?

It sounds like your Chromecast is powered since it’s warm, but not completing the connection to your TV or network. A few things you can try:
Check TV input: Make sure the TV is set to the correct HDMI input where the Chromecast is plugged in.
Power cycle: Unplug the Chromecast and your TV for a full minute, then plug them back in.
Factory reset: Hold down the button on the Chromecast for ~25 seconds until the light blinks, then set it up again through the Google Home app.
