Connection to router

Is there a update which hav change the connection, my cromecast is starting 2,4 Ghz instead of 5 ghz

Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.

There's no news yet about an update to the Chromecast 3rd gen device. It can connect to either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. But aside from its connectivity to your WiFi, is it showing any issues when casting?
