I was redoing my Yale Nest lock as it had lost connection. Upon connection to the lock the app froze. After quitting the app I wasn’t able to connect back to the nest app services. Received the notice that the Nest App Services are offline and to check back later. That was days ago. I’ve reinstalled the app and signed in multiple times. This is occurring on all my iOS devices so it’s not device related. Oddly I can log into the home.nest.com and see the devices. Suggestions?

There have been a number of posts in this forum in the last day or so reporting that people cannot log onto the Google Nest app or are getting a message saying the Nest service is not available. It is not happening to everyone, and for some customers it happens on one phone and not another, or on one Google account and not another. So far, it hasn't happened to us.
On this post, Support told the customer they were looking into the problem:

Hi pelf,
I'm hoping you saw MlpsCustomer's reply and explanation of what's happening with the Nest app. There is indeed a known bug affecting some users and teams are working to get it resolved. Are you still seeing these issues on your end?
Thanks,
Jeff

The app is working fine now for me. It started working a couple days ago.

Good to hear, pelf. I appreciate the follow up.
Before I mark this as resolved, is there anything else you might need?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hey folks,
As we got our resolution here, I'm going to mark this thread as resolved. I'll be locking this thread if we won't hear back from you again in 24 hrs. Should that happen, feel free to create a new one if you have more questions or have other concerns in the future.
Thanks for the help here, MplsCustomer and Jeff.
Best,
JT
