Home App not giving notifications

My Nest camera is given alerts to the Nest App on my phone so I am 100% sure the camera is operating correctly, but my wife got a new phone Pixel 4a and she no longer receives notifications with the Google home app.  I have tried:

1. App Permissions and given all access.

2. Checking permissions and see nothing

2. Resinstalling Home app

All no change. I  get notification on Nest. She used to get notification on her Pixel 4a before it died and was replaced.  I am at a loss as to what to do.

After some struggles I figured it out the problem with the new phone. We had to relogin again even though it was her Google account
