Nest Doorbell (battery) won't detach from base

My Google Nest Doorbell (battery) has been installed and operating for about 2 weeks. It's now time to charge the doorbell and when I used the provided pin to insert in the slot located at the top of the doorbell, nothing happens. There is no clicking sound and the doorbell isn't detaching from the base which is fixed to the wall. What do I do?

@Rick_Anthony

I'm glad we decided to get one of the older Google Nest Hello Doorbells early this year instead of the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) for our unwired 3rd entrance. There are so many customers posting concerns in this forum about the base for the battery doorbell being defective; either they can't detach it or it comes loose and falls off. Since the doorbell has to be regularly removed to charge it, this seems like a basic design flaw.

Hi folks,

I appreciate your assistance here, MplsCustomer.

Got it, thanks for trying to detach your Nest Doorbell (battery). Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help: Remove Nest camera or doorbell from its stand or mount

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

JT
