How to add more family members or change ownership

It is in possible to add family members. Nest redirect to Google Home and Google home doesn't have any features to ad a family member. Also I set up the cameras for people who can't do it themselves but don't want take space of their family members allowed to use it.  There should be a option to for unskilled users to hire an "admin" to set up and maintain Nest and Google devices but be sort of on call not be owner, user or member of the family.

If you sign in to the Nest app with a Google Account (which most people do for a long time now), you need to use the Home app to manage home members. See the "Manage home members" section of this help article:

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this. No worries, we'll figure this out together. You can follow the steps below to add a family member in the Google Home app:

 

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Switch to the home you want to share.
  3. At the top left, tap the plus sign > Invite home member > Invite person.
    • If you don't find "Invite home member," tap Add person to home.
  4. Enter the name or email address of the person you want to invite to your home > tap Next.
  5. Review what’s shared when you add someone to your home > tap Next.
  6. Review the person’s access to your home > tap Send.
  7. If your Google Family Group isn’t full and the person you’re inviting isn’t already in one, you should get the option to invite them to your Google Family Group.
    • To invite them, tap Add to Family.
    • To skip this step, tap No Thanks.

You can have up to 6 members in a Google Family Group. The person you invite should receive an email with instructions.
