Delete a returned nest protect

How can I delete a returned nest protect from my dashboard/ account??

1. Sign in to the Nest app.
2. If you have another home, on the app home screen, tap Menu in the top left corner. Then select the home that has the product you'd like to remove.
3. On the app home screen, tap the Settings cog.
4. Tap the Nest Protect.
5. Scroll down and select Remove [product name].
6. You'll then be asked to confirm your choice.

  I think I did that and confirmed the delete. The nest app still lists the one I deleted  and I can’t repeat the process to delete it. The new home exists in the Google  Home  app  but the deleted one does not. How can I  remove it from the Nest app??

Not sure what you mean. You followed those steps in the Nest app and it still shows up in the Nest app even though you removed it?

burntmillfarms, I'm chiming in to ensure you're all good here. As an additional step, could you also try force closing your Nest app then relaunching it? If that did not help, try to uninstall and reinstall your Nest app.
