Nest Protect Beeps every 60sec but no light or low battery message

Hello

i bought my nest protect 1 1/2 years ago. it started making a beep every 60sec but no light of low battery. i have changed the batteries to new energizer ultimate lithium but the beep continues. i have tried to factory reset but no blue light or any voice starts the reset process

any ideas what is happening?
