Nest in Puerto Rico

• I just bought a google nest carbon monoxide detector only to find that I cannot set up a home in Puerto Rico. Why do you sell these priducts in Best Buy in Puerto Rico when they cannot be used here. Very frustrating that I didnt find this out until i opened the package and followed the directions to set up my account. Very disappointed in Google. I will discuss with Best Buy also that they should consider not stocking your products. Happy now I have Amazon prooducts in the States. Would have bought Amazon but it figures they were sold out. From the comments Ive seen it looks like Google doesn't care.

Since Puerto Rico is part of the United States, when Google Nest says Nest Protect is certified in the United States, what does that really mean?  If it does not include the entire United States, Google Nest should say so.

Thanks for getting back to us and I appreciate your insight about this matter. 

I found an information from the Google Store website stating that our Google Nest Protect (2nd gen) is available to the countries of Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States (except Puerto Rico).
