Nest protect offline

I have two problems. My NEST protect is offline. I recently updated my WiFi. Also, I deleted one of my NEST protect from my app and can’t get it back.

For your offline Nest Protect, have you tried these steps? What happened?

If you deleted a Nest Protect from the app, you'll need to reset it to be able to add it back to the app:

I’m experiencing the same problem.  None of those steps work.  Why did they make it impossible to change the Wi-Fi on Protect devices?

hi...I had to remove each NEST protect from my app (I have three of them in my house) and then I was able to reset them all using the new WiFi. You have to scan the barcode in the back of each device when you are resetting them. Hope this helps.

This did not help me. I went through all the steps on the tech support page and this was one of the steps.
