Protect Beeping Every 4 Minutes

Battery operated nest protect. Has been working great with no issue for the past two months. Over the past week the protect has started beeping once precisely every four minutes. Status checkup shows everything is fine. Have replaced batteries and cleaned internals with compressed air to no effect. 

Has anybody else run into this issue and had any success solving it?

That doesn't seem to match one of the battery or expiration type chirps listed? Are any of them familiar?
