Hi- first time here. The heater is old school. Only has two wires red and white. Any ideas? Or is there an alternative? Thanks in advance.

Does this furnace have a forced air blower or does it heat water?

hey, I am not sure but I do know it uses gas not electricity and it vents outside onto the roof so there is no air used in the room. hope this helps

Please explain how the heat generated by your furnace enters the rooms of your house? Another words do you have baseboard water heated you have radiators in the rooms they get water boiled heated, or are there air vents in the rooms in which the warm air comes out?

the heat comes out of the vents on the wall unit, no other way. it is using a pilot light.

Hi folks,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Thanks for assisting, Ken.
@marknathaniel, It appears that your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostats. However, a Common wire, Nest Power Connector, or 24V Transformer might be needed to deliver constant power and stabilize the flow of current into the thermostat.
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.
Best regards,
Mark
