I have had the W5 error on my Nest thermostat for months, i innocently thought it may be a wifi issue and not the thermostat as it was only a few months old. It seems it is a very common problem though now i am looking into it. I have installed new superfast broadband (the old one was fast too) but the thermostat still won't find any networks and gives the W5 error.
I have tried all the troubleshooting fixes many times and none of them work and would like to request a replacement but i've been stuck in an infinite loop of aftersales troubleshooting guides and seemingly no-one wants to provide any phone number to contact the company that manufactures my faulty product.

Hi @sterut , thanks for reaching out. I would be happy to assist. Should you wish, you can of course reach out to my colleagues on any of our support channels, thanks for the suggestion @MplsCustomer .
If you haven't already, try and restart the thermostat first by going to Settings> Reset> Restart and let me know if you need further assistance.
