Nest Thermostat with Google Home

What’s up with Nest Thermostat? I can’t reach a live person. Every phone number posted is disconnected. Are they going out of business?

If you would prefer, here is how to contact the Google Nest support team directly.

  1. Go to Contact Us - Google Nest Help
  2. Select "Thermostats", type a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
  3. Click "Other", then click "Next step" until you see the contact options.
  4. Choose to get a call or call or chat with the team as available in your country.

I haven’t been able to reconnect my Nest with my phone app. I still need help.

Thanks for getting back to us, and I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to reconnect your thermostat to the Nest app. Please answer the following: 

 

  • What type of device do you have?
  • When and from where was the device purchased?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • What’s the color of the LED status light?
  • How far is the device from the router?
  • Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
  • Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.
