Is this set up compatible with a nest thermostat?

Hey Brianjs,
I'm sorry for the delay. Let's check — what is the make and model of your HVAC system? Are you using a conventional or proprietary system? Also, what country are you located in?
Also, you could check on our Compatibility Checker or this link to know more about your system's compatibility with our Nest thermostats: https://goo.gle/375XG2f
Thanks,
Archie

My furnace is a carrier performance series model cnpvp1814alaaaaa. I live in a house in Canada . Forced air gas furnace with central air. I control myself and own the equipment. I checked your page but could not figure it out. Showed a picture to salesman at Home Depot and he said no problem. Emerson thermostat has a red wire with a jumper, a green wire, a white wire and an orange wire. Could not see the the “letters” related to wires.

Hi Brianjs,
Thanks for getting back to us with additional details. Big help!
It looks like it will be compatible with Nest Thermostats, and you no longer need to use the jumper wire. Please follow these wiring setups: G (green), W/W1 (white), R (red), and Y/Y1 (orange).
Let us know if you have more questions.
Best,
Mark
