from onhub to nest wifi

Hi

I just bought a nest wifi to replace onHub. When I connect the nest wifi, and add a new device from the home app, then scan the qr code, it says: network is offline. I waited for the white pulse. if I just connect back onhub then my network is back up and running.

  • The setup error also says if you factory reset you router, you will need to remove the bettors from the app  I couldn't find hiw to so that, and I am not sure I would need to do that.

Thanks

Hi Zim4264,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with setting up your Google WiFi. Since you're replacing your OnHub device, you would need to remove it from the Google Home app. Please follow the steps below:

  • Open Google Home app
  • Tap WiFi
  • Tap on the Settings button and select factory reset network

After doing a factory reset, try adding your Google WiFi devices again.

Thanks,

Edward

Thank you I did that exactly that yesterday, and it worked great. 15 minutes and everything was working great!
