Both of my Yale locks went offline. The problem was the Nest guard had been unplugged. I reconnected that so it is online. However, my Yale locks are doing nothing. I followed the troubleshooting steps to reset (removed, even changed batteries) and that did not help. Reluctantly, I removed the device from the app to re-add it, but now after I scan the QR code to add it, then press the middle button, the button is non-responsive and will not light up. And it is here I am stuck. I cannot use that lock at all. I do not want to reset the other Yale lock, because at least the codes still work.

After ZERO help from Nest/Google (as exhibited here on this post and other similar posts that were closed after receiving no help whatsoever), I found this video on YouTube. After I did this factory reset, it worked. I wish Google would update this information. I also turned off the 5 ghz wifi options on my router and did a factory reset my Nest Guard first, which did not help, but I am mentioning these additional steps in case it was in fact a combo of these efforts. Extremely frustrating but I was able to get mine to work thanks to the video linked above pressing the blue button after removing the inside faceplate.

It recovered by itself after a few hours in the same day. It happened twice in March. I don't recall similar to happening before.
