Hello Aliraza512,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Resetting the Nest Thermostat will bring it back to its default settings, as if it were freshly taken out of the box. Adding it back again is needed to configure your system. To better assist you with this, could you please tell us the type of Nest Thermostat you have so we would know where to begin? Also, what are you seeing on its screen?

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Mark

it is the net thermostat E  and  on the screen it shows a phone and there is a home icon on it

Hi there,

To avoid confusion, is it stuck on a Nest logo? If so, try to press and hold its screen for 10 seconds until it shuts down to refresh. If options do appear, follow the prompt and continue the set-up in the Nest app.

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.

Thanks,

Mark

its nothing like a nest logo

there is a phone icon and inside there is home icon on it been stuck there for a week tried restarting still wont turn on

Hi there @Aliraza512. Thank you for the picture. Since the thermostat was factory reset you'll need to re-add the thermostat to the app. For that, please remove the Heat Link and if the display still appears in the app, it will also need to be removed. After you remove them from the app, you can start re-adding them by scanning the QR code and you'll have to start with the display. Once the display is added to the app, please add the Heat Link as well. You can find more information on how to add the thermostat in the app, here but you also should have instructions in the Nest app once you start. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks, Larisa.
