My ChromeCast with google TV 4K stopped working after firmware update during initial setup.
The TV shows color "G" logo then reboot itself, the light indicator on Chromecast flashes with orange light and it doesn't respond with click/hold on reset button.
I see I should use the form here
I am creating this issue because the form asks for a link where I described my issue

Same problem here s described in the link below. Google replaced the item. That should be the case with mine (less than a year old)!

same problem.
Purchase in June 2022.
It happened once before July 2022, and a new product was replaced.
On March 19, 2023, it happened again.
If you replace it with a new one, you don't know when it will fail again.
I've seen a lot of similar issues on the forums.

I got an email yesterday that Google would replace me with a new Chromecast.
Google also didn't tell me, what's wrong with the Chromecast.
(It may be related to the firmware version)
I also responded to Google, how to deal with the failure after the warranty expired.
I didn’t get a positive reply.
Let's hope this third Chromecast survives a little longer.
Hope Google can give us an answer.

Hey there Alex-Hsu,
That's no good to hear. Hopefully, with enough users talking with Chromecast Support and submitting feedback, the Chromecast engineering team will be able to find out where the issue is. I'm sorry to say that I don't have any developments to share regarding this issue at the moment.

I got a replacement for the bricked one. Fingers crossed it won't happen again. Also bought a second one and one for a family member. Fingers crossed again. Anybody out there who knows what the cause of this problem is?
