App trouble

I’m trying to connect a thermostat. We first tried to setup the doorbell but wouldn’t connect so we took it back. Trying to setup the thermostat but app still looks for doorbell first so it won’t let me add thermostat. Please help!!!

Resolved! Google Home shows TV and Home Mini as disconnected

Got a new TV and google home mini, and even though I connected both to my home app just fine, they both show as disconnected in the app. Phone is on the same wifi, everything is on latest updates.
