EWPE app and Google home

Google home says the device is offline. Google home reports the device offline but the EWPE smart app controls it without a problem. No matter what i do it doesnt work. It keeps saying check if it works with the app.

Ridiculous. Never buy into Google takeover crap. They bought Nest just to eliminate competition and then just began to make it suck for those of us that invested heavily! Shame, so much promise, but caught in a takeover! Typical Google.
