Won’t appear in Google Home

Hi, Why does not my Google Nest Protect show up in Google Home?I tried everything for 3 days… I made a new home, reconnect Wi-Fi, reinstalled both Wi-Fi and Nest Protect etc etc?

Protect is so sensitive

The Nest Protect is super sensitive. If I am frying, anything, it will always alert there is smoke, and sometime fire off a full alarm. (No I am not burning anything) I can appreciate that it detects something, however it would be great to be able to...

I have old Kidde wired smoke detectors that need replacing. Does the wiring harness in the wired model connect directly to the Kidde plug? Thanks.
