Resolved! Failed QR code

After doing a factory reset on my Nest Protect smoke alarm the QR code takes me to a generic google website not to the normal QR installation pathway. Stated differently the QR code does not work. Ideas? And thank you in advance.

Hello all. I just bought two new Google Nest hard wired smoke detectors. Am I right to understand they will soon not be supported in 2024?if so they are going back to the store. thanks

Protect Ver.2 keeps reporting 'power out'

I have three Gen2 Protects and one keeps reporting that the power is out. I've checked the house feed and get 120v when measured. When I reconnect to the device it still says power out. How do I fix the issue?

NVM: False Alarm for Room that Doesn't Exist

The settings for just one of the devices had a "spoken name" different from its location designation. I reconciled the two. I would delete this message, but I can't seem to find anyway to do so.
