Best Protect alerts

Hi - hoping someone can help, please! I have just connected a nest protect smoke alarm. I want that to send me alerts and ideally call me if there is an issue while I am away, with the app set to ‘away’. Can’t see how to set this.

Nest Protect smoke detectors

Every day for the past 3 days one of my nest protect smoke detectors has gone offline and cannot connect to Wi-Fi. I cannot get them to reconnect. My wifi is working fine. Is anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?

Nest Protect 2 - Mount Changed

Why change the mount? Going from expired gen 1 detects is all the more difficult. Plus the new mount is much more difficult to attach. Very frustrated right now. Why Google, why why why?

Nest Protect light will not turn on

My Nest Protect, purchased in July 2021, will not activate the light ring. It announced that the light ring cannot turn on. Looking for what to do/how to get a new unit (since it is still well within the 1-year warranty).
