Resolved! nest protect, wired beeping every 60 seconds

I have a nest protect that was installed by my contractor a few months ago. It is not connected to Wi-Fi and it is wired. Is beeping every 60 seconds. I don’t know how to take it off the ceiling or what the beeping means. It is driving me crazy.
