Keypad not lighting up!

The keypad numbers are not lighting up on my Yale lock. I changed the batteries. That wasn’t the problem. I can open and lock the door using the app but with the keypad it’s not lighting up for my kids to unlock the door when they get home.

Resolved! Add Home Entry Only to Nest X Yale in Google Home

This used to be so simple to do in the Nest App. I'm now told I need to do it on the Google Home app. After spending half an hour going through so many different options within Google Home I'm reaching out here hoping someone can help.
