I am having an ongoing issue with chromecast audio when casting from HP
laptop to the tvs in my house. I use to be able to leave the Google

I have a mounted tv and all wires hidden behind the wall. The new
Chromecast requires power from an outlet not the usb on the tv. Why
can't I use the USB on the computer. If I can't, I need a really long
cable to get to the power through the wall.
My Chromecast suddenly stopped providing me with 1080p resolution, the
highest resolution I now get to choose is 720p. I already tried

Also happens in Amazon Prime streaming. Usually about 20 minutes into a
film. if I get up and toggle the volume control on the speaker the sound
will resume. But 20 minutes later it will lose audio again.
