Chrome cast stuck on screen saver

I was watching discovery plus on my chrome cast and my toddler took the remote. He pushed some buttons and now it’s locked on the screen saver and I can’t undo it.

Chromecast with Google Tv

My device cant read my external storage. It's already formatted to FAT32, enabled force allow apps on external as well but still the device cant read the drive. Can anyone help me with this matter?
