Chromecast ultra doesn't obey network DNS configuation

As of yesterday, the chromecast ultra that I have happily used up till then no longer respects DNS settings via DHCP/RA and what's worse, keeps spamming connection attempts despite the firewall properly sending replies that the route is not available...

Resolved! Delete Spotify on Chromecast with Google tv

How do I get my Chromecast with Google tv to never use Spotify? It will often play a song instead of a show and I just want that to stop.I do still want to be able to use Spotify with my Google home speakers though. Just never on the tv.
