Chromecast Keeps Switching to Screensaver While Watching Live

Hello,Over the past few days whenever I'm watching anything from the Live tab for a while, it will switch over to the screensaver. I've tried restarting and force stopping the app but it just happens again. Everything is up to date.

Does chromecast require internet access via wifi? My access is through my phone. My wifi I used for network printer access.
