chromecast power and update isdue

So, l have been using chrome cast powered off the tv USB without issue until l installed the latest ipdate. Now there is a screen that says not enough power and it no longer functions. What has changed and how can l get it back?

Paramount+ live tv error 6107

Every time I try to watch live tv from the Paramount+ app on my Chromecast gen 1. I get an error code 6017. No of my other devices (Roku, fire tv, or Android tv) receive this error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but nothing has worked.
