Chromecast ambient issue

Hi, I want to cast my security camera from my tablet to a Chromecast, but the ambient settings take over after a period. There has to be a way to disable this feature? Why can't we disable this feature? Thanks in advance, Jim

Remote not working white light stays on

My chromecast remote not working. Changed batteries tried to reset. To be honest it's a really flimsy remote. I had this unit about 2 months. Really disappointed maybe I should have bought a different device such as firestick or roku.
