Chromecast wont work and tv showing exclamation point

I pressed the button on the chromecast for 30 seconds to reboot and now the TV is only showing an exclamation point. What do I do? The light is orange again, but the device doesn't show in the Home app.

Can't enter password on Chromecast with google tv

My chromecast with google pops up a message on my TV that says I've been logged out and wants me to login again. I'm at the prompt where I can put in my password, but I can't enter a password...Ideas?Thanks,Roscoe
