Stuttering after firmware update

After apparent recent firmware update audio streaming (Chrome, Win10) became annoyingly choppy. The sound is stuttering which makes the device practically unusable. How can I restore the previous version of the firmware?

Resolved! Google TV Remote Died

The remote has the white light pulsing slowly and is otherwise unresponsive.Fresh batteries continue the behavior. I have had this unit since the first month it was available. Can anyone tell me how to replace just the remote?Thank you.

Chromecast with Google TV cannot control TV volume with CEC.
