Buffering

Resolved! Remote no longer works

My Google Chromecast remote is no longer per working. I purchased it at Target in May 2022. I tried replacing the batteries and the light keeps pulsing. The assistant button works but nothing else. I'm not sure if it's still under warranty.

Chromecast problem

All I am getting on my galaxy phone is the ambient display and when tapping cast it goes to another screen and tap cast again and it goes back to ambient screen. Casting works fine from my chrome book. I have google home installed on both devices.
