Change batteries now my thermostat is stuck on continue set up in Google home app

App says heating all the time.

Nest app says heating, nest thermostats says cooling, cold air is blowing. I have the air on to cool the house but no matter what I do the Nest app says heating. The app is even recording everything as heat when it is supposed to be A/C.

Wifi disconnects when AC turns on and shuts off immediately

Installed in the winter, now need the AC to work. As explained in the title, it will turn on for a few seconds, but shuts off immediately because the wifi disconnects.

Nest Learning thermostat wiring help

We are trying to install a Nest learning thermostat and can't figure out the wiring. We currently have: C, RC, U1, W, Y and G. Can someone please help and let us know if the Nest Learning is compatible with our system?thanks

If I have a thermostat locked to a certain temperature can a renter go and unconnect from my wifi so I can't keep thermostat locked anyway ?

 I have a Honeywell thermostat with seven wires for a heat pump. It has two wires - black and white - going into W2 (Aux/E). The red has a jumper from Rc to R. I know I don’t need jumper but how do I wire this? Where do black and white wires go? Help...
