Heatlink failing to connect

After doing a factory reset I cannot get the Heatlink to connect to the Thermostat - have followed all the instructions - resetting the Heatlink, moving the Thermostat closer to the Heatlink, and re-entered the location, etc data over and over again....

Nest E thermostat blank screen

My nest E thermostat is not responding to anything I do. Almost like it's got no power. This is the second one as the 1st was replaced under warranty due to connectivity issues to the WiFi. Only been installed for 2 months. Please help.
