I just purchased and installed a Google Nest thermostat that I purchased new from Amazon and the batteries are already dead. Or at least close to dead, because the Nest is now telling me that the batteries need to be replaced. Is this normal?
Current tthermostat has 7 wires, can the Nest thermostat work with this system or is the learning thermostat required?
I having a hard time wiring my new Nest. It doesn't like just green, white, and red wires only. These are the only wires connected on the furnace side. When trying to run the setup keeps talking about control wire. Any help would be appreciated.
