Problem with the hardware acceleration

When I watch my gopro videos from my NAS with VLC, they are all flipped 180° on my Google TV Streamer but oriented correctly on my Chromecast with Google TV (4K). Is there a problem with the hardware acceleration of the Google TV Streamer?
