Thermostat display don't wake up when using app

Thermostat display don't wake up when using app everything works but when I turn the dial on the app the dial on the thermostat don't move the screen stays blank but if I touch the thermostat it shows its turned on ...is the nest faulty?

Nest sensor showing celcius

I installed a new sensor and it is showing Celcius instead of Fahrenheit. Is there a way to change that? All of the other sensors show Fahrenheit.
