Nest Thermostat - Backplate

Heating Question
Have heat set to 68 degrees. Often house will drop to 65 before heat turns on. Any reason why this would be happening?
Show date and time besides temperature
When I pass by, the thermostat displays the current ambient temperature. It would be nice if there was the option to display the current date and time as well on the same screen.
