heating usage for June and July look wrong

Nest thermostat e wire installation issue

I purchased the most recent version of the google nest thermostat. When installing, I have an e wire with no home in the nest. I read in another forum I could plug it into W. Is this accurate? Below is a picture of the old thermostat
