Cast icon on yt disappeared

Cast icon on youtube disappeared. It still appears on other applications, ie yt music, etc and on my old phone which doesn't get any updates. This may be the result of recent android update but this is an assumption. Can anyone help?

How do you customise the channels selected on the home screen. I am in the UK so get BBC 1 etc showing as tiles in the channels section of the home screen but there is seemingly no way to choose which tiles appear.
