How to connect more than one device to thermostat

How do you connect more than one device to a Nest thermostat? We have one connected, but now when you go into settings on the thermostat it no longer displays the key, so can’t connect another one! Many thanks.

Nest Thermostat is locked-, it is offline- so I cannot use the nest app. How do I reset the pin?

The Nest thermostat is locked. It says " The pin is not correct" for the pin that I was using for the last 4 years. I cannot see the thermostat at the Nest app so I cannot reset it using the Nest app. How do I unlock it? Please help!
