Google Home shows Nest thermostat was deleted from app. Tried reinstalling it but app saying there is an error and won’t reinstall?

I cannot get my phone to sync. I have tried all the suggested fixes. I do not get a code when I push what I am supposed to, and nothing happened when I scanned the QR code. Any help would be appreciated. Joan

Outdoor temperature 15° too high

I have my thermostat set to show the outside temperature when I walk in the room. For the last couple of days it has been displaying a temperature which is around 15° higher than the actual outside temperature.
